Anthony David Gonzalez is a ex- American football tight-end who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. Gonzalez is considered to be one of the best tight ends of all time. In addition to being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, as well as the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez also was the NFL tight end who had the most receptions.

Gonzalez was a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's one-hour NFL pregame program preceding FOX NFL SUNSET) that airs every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez signed a new contract for Atlanta Falcons with a two-year term and $11 million on the 15th of March 2013. This despite being aware that Gonzalez was claiming he would like to retire after the 2012 NFL football season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season marked his final as NFL leading receiver in yards.
